Remember when Joe Camel has to be retired because the fact that he was a cartoon meant that Camel was inherently advertising to kids? I’m sure the makers of VapPuro would also deny that they are targeting kids, but when the flavor they push at the front is candy, I don’t believe them.

What Were They Thinking?
— Just how did that break?
“What Were They Thinking?” highlights products and presentations which just don’t make sense.
I encountered FiberFix, a water-activated bonding repair tape, at the local Lowe’s over the weekend. Looks like fantastic stuff, but I marveled at the pic:
Explain to me just how the nut-racker bar on a bicycle gets broken (without the rest of it being horribly damaged, anyway). A co-worker suggested that maybe someone took a hacksaw to the bar, to steal… and then he stopped that line of thought.
This picture from the product’s website doesn't improve matters. A close look at the chair shows that the tape wrap is Photoshopped (poorly) onto the stock photo. Onto all the items, apparently, based on the angle of the tape roll.
